I can’t even begin to tell you how depressing it is to have to frog what feels like everything you’ve ever knit (two items out of…..I don’t know how many because I’ve lost count, but whatever) and you don’t have anything else on the needles.

Remember this hat?

Well, it looks like this now:

Scottshat

I started to unravel it from the bottom because I wanted to just redo the brim. Well guess what? That was taking too long so I just ripped the entire thing out this morning. No, patience is not my strong suit.

*sigh*

I’ll rip the sleeve out tonight, but I think I’ll actually work on the hat tonight. Well, I’ll start on it first. Maybe I’ll try alternating between the sleeve and the hat. Five rows of hat, five rows of sleeve. Or something like that. Yeah, yeah, I know. It’ll probably be all hat, but it’s a lie I like to tell myself, ok?

Hey, are you still having trouble with your back? How are you doing? And…..dear glory, woman…I loved that hat!!! Now it’s nothing but soft yarn….makes me sad….=(

The good thing about frogging is that it gives you more projects to do and more yarn! Sorry, I know it sucks. I ripped back the Jaywalkers twice before I got it right the third time. Such….slow…progress…socks are.

  • Thanks. I’m hoping the second time around the hat will be even better.
