I started on the Frida Poncho last night. I got quite a bit done and decided that I want to use a bigger gauge needle. I was using 101/2 needles. I then changed to 11. I love my Denise Interchangeables. Lovely. Anyway, I’ve decided that I really want the poncho to have a lacy-ish look to it and I want my stitches big, open and airy. So, I’m going to frog it and start over with 15s.
Last night while I was knitting, I watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with David. I LOVE that movie! I need two more movies to complete my favorite childhood movies collection. I need Bedknobs & Broomsticks and Mary Poppins. Dick Van Dyke was a very good looking man back in his hayday.
Unfortunately, when I get home tonight, there is a big stack of laundry laying on the bed waiting to be folded. That will have to be tended to before I can begin knitting. Good thing I’m a quick folder.
