Saturday, B and I headed down to Art Walk to see Elizabeth spin. Oh, and to see art.
Poor Elizabeth. She probably thought I wasn’t coming at all since it took us forever to get down to Art Walk in the first place. Life was trying to get in the way, but I put it in its place and we got down there about, uh, 15 minutes before her workshop was done. But we made it! That’s what counts, right? Right.
Elizabeth let me try out her wheel, which is oh so lovely to spin. Unfortunately, B and I have that kind of relationship where one sometimes knows what the other is thinking and he told me, “NO” before I could even ask. Le sigh That’s ok. My next wheel is going to be a Lendrum, anyway.
Ahem.
Also, I finally got to meet Darlene. Which was, so fantastic! We’ve e-mailed back and forth for, oh, forever, but until now, we’ve never gotten to meet in real life. She’s so sweet and so cute! And so much better groomed than I was. And we’ll leave it at that. You can see a picture of us over on her blog.
It was a wonderful afternoon and GREAT to meet you too!!! Uhh….well groomed??? Oh Yeah…I posted the pic of us AFTER cropping out my shirt…which was unbuttoned and flashing my…..well….let’s just say well groomed didn’t apply!!! LOL!!!!!!

I didn’t even notice that Darlene was flashing! She’ll never ask me to take another photo! And – you should’ve seen me yesterday. Talk about UNgroomed! It was my day off. I reveled in laze.
