Finally!

I have been looking at getting a small point and shoot camera for, oh, the last two years. But I love all the functions my big point and shoot/ faux DSLR camera has and have just had a really hard time finding a small, pocket sized camera that will live up to my Fujifilm Finepix S5200. I wanted a camera that was really small, had high resolution, dual image stabilization, manual settings, multiple pre-programmed settings and a partridge in a pear tree.

Well, I finally found what I was looking for in the Fujifilm Finepix F70EXR. It has 10 MP, 10 x optical zoom, and all the other bells and whistles I was looking for in a tiny point and shoot. Oh, and it is tiny! Like, stick it in your pocket tiny! And you might be laughing at me, but I haven’t had a camera this small, in well, ever. (I also might have a tiny bias towards Fujifilm cameras since all but one of my digital cameras have been Fujifilm.) The partridge in the pear tree? I got a sweet package deal and the camera came with a camera case, table top tripod, 4 gb SD card and a lens cleaning kit. Oh, and I added an extra rechargeable battery. All for less than $250. Because I am all about a deal.

But really, check out how well it takes pictures. (Click to embiggen and then click on the embiggened photo to see them all.)

It’s totally normal to have a crush on your camera, right?
