Once again I have had another bright shining moment of D.O.R.K.-dom. Went to have my one week follow up on the contact lenses and had my eyes dilated and for some hair brained reason thought I would be able to get some work done. WITH. MY. EYE. DILATED. So, I’m typing this right now and I have no idea what kind of typos I’m making. Please forgive me. I’m just exercigin my right to be a COMPLETE D.O.R.K.
Oh yeah, and this weekend I picked up another skein of blue yarn for the daisy mae bag. Guess what? I had another episode of D.O.R.K. I bought bulky instead of worsted because I didn’t bother to check to see what weight I was using. Brilliant, eh? And while I will be felting the bag, I’m just wondering how bad it will be if I use the bulky anyway. Le sigh.
Anyway, the weekend wasn’t a total loss. I did spend a good portion of the weekend with my family. It was fabulous. Even when we were up at the lake and it RAINED. We still had a good time. I also spent the better part of the rain sacked out on the couch. Still, we had loads of fun.
I didn’t do too much knitting this weekend. Too busy sleeping on couches and other horizontal surfaces ~ my bed. Also, spent a good portion of the weekend on a float in the lake. Not conducive to knitting, but great fun all the same.
I also spent Satur with Sister. Always a good time. We went to Serendipity and I bought the most DELICIOUS yarn for my secret pal. I REALLY hope she likes it.
Oh, and Ginny and I went and saw Batman Begins this weekend. EXCELLENT. This is by far, my favorite Batman movie EVER. Plus, Christian Bale is absolutely delicious.
