Don’t You Hate It When

You get a song or a jingle or just something stuck in your head and it won’t go away? I’ve had Love in an Elevator stuck in my head for two days now. Don’t get me wrong, I like the song just fine, but I just need to figure out how to get it off repeat in my brain.

That way, maybe there would be room for, you know, other stuff.

Listen to Stash And Burn Podcast. Their theme song’s an awesome mindworm.

  • I get like that, but hardly ever with songs; for me, it’s always movie quotes. I’ll watch something particularly memorable (Braveheart is a minefield for me) and then go bonkers for the next week when every other sentence that comes out of my mouth came from some dude wearing a kilt :P I usually get rid of it by listening to Bjork. Don’t ask me why, but she is so weird (and surprisingly hard to remember), it just sort of cleanses the mental palate.

  • Raindrops on Roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown Paper Packages tied up with string
These are a few of my favorite things…..

    It always works for me.
