Dear Blog,

I do stuff behind your back all the time and you never catch on. At first, it was kinda fun because I knew I would get away with it. Then I got kinda pissed because, DO YOU EVEN CARE? No, apparently not. Sometimes I wonder if you even really love me. And then I was just sad because you are always there and never judge me and just wait for me no matter what. I really shouldn’t keep things from you so I’m going to come clean.

While I was away at SAFF, I made these just for me:

Technically I started them before SAFF, but I finished them while I was there. I even told Ravelry before I told you. I’m sorry about that.

And I’ve been working on Aunt Betty’s socks. Sock number 2 is well under way for getting knit on a few minutes here and there a day.

And for someone who was all, “I don’t care if my socks match or not,” this second sock looks suspiciously like the first sock in the matching department. I’m sure this is just a coincidence and not some aspect of my raging perfectionism.

Oh, and another thing. I picked up the Kiri Shawl again last night, (I’m telling you first so you don’t feel like I never tell you anything first. Because that is SO not true. ) and I am short by 1 stitch and I can’t figure out where and Holy. Shit. Do you know who much I do not want to tink back who knows how many rows until the missing stitch miraculously shows back up? THIS MUCH. And also a WHOLE LOT more.

Also? I have no idea how many stitches are supposed to be on the needles at this point. If I did the math right (of which there is no guarantee) then I missing not just 1 stitch, but 40 others as well. WTF? How did this happen? Also, WHY CAN I NOT FIND WHERE THE ERROR IS? Everything looks normal! No, I haven’t been able to pin it out to look at it. Why would you bring that up? IT’S NOT HELPING. I’m going to stop talking about this now because my eye is twitching again. So, blog, if you can figure out what is going on there, I’d really appreciate it. Also? Would you tink back to where there is no missing stitch? Thanks!

OK! Love you! Bye!
