I just got done with the bank a little while ago. Things are starting to look a little better, but I’m sure I’ve got a long road ahead of me.

My bank does over fraud protection, for which I am quite grateful. They were incredibly kind and helpful and I’ve done everything possible to take care of this shit. All that is left is to wait for all the charges to clear my account so that they can reimburse me for whatever gets through. Hopefully since I talked to so many of them, I won’t be cleaned out too terribly much, and at least it will only be temporary.

Now if I could just get in touch with gmail and ebay to make sure that they close out those accounts and I don’t have to worry about that anymore. That would make breathing a little bit easier.

The thing that outrages me the most is the fact that whoever did this purchased a public background check on somene. I imagine it was probably on me. that makes me feel violated and dirty. I HATE that. BASTARD.

The other thing is that one of the charges was to an Islamic Center in Virginia. That looks suspect. And that bothers me. When I talked to the guy at the center, he was very nice about it and stopped all the charges that were on my card and told me to call back if any went through and he would refund me the money.

I just hope I can get it all straightened out now with ebay and gmail. Wish me luck.
