Clean House

So I ended up not getting any knitting done this weekend. I did however, accomplish a few other things. I finally went through my old bills and purged them, reorganized them and put a ton of stuff away. I cleaned up my apartment and put away clean clothes. I didn’t back out of a party and went and had a great time with my “circus friends.” I also got to hang out with a really cool friend. I also found a place for the boys to run in an enclosed space. That was nice. Of course, it wasn’t until after I left that I saw the sign that said “No Dogs Allowed on Footbal Field.” Oops. It was a football field at one of the parks in town. Oh well, it was Sunday and no one was playing football, and they weren’t the only dogs in there.

I also took Bear and Toby to the vet. They both needed flea and heartworm medicine. I got them started on Revolution. That cost a small fortune, but luckily not as much as buying Heartgard and Frontline combined for two different size dogs. So I actually came out a head…somehow. Turned out Toby was behind on some shots, so he had to have a booster shot and his rabies shot. He also had a heartworm test that came back negative. Yay! Bear on the other hand, has been having a terrible cough and the vet said he has bronchitis! I didn’t know dogs could get bronchitis. The vet gave him a shot of antibiotics and pills to take and his cough seems to have improved. I’m just glad his appetite has not diminished. Oh, and I weighed them both. Bear weights 62 lbs and Toby weighs 13 lbs. I thought that was kind of funny.

The two of them are getting more comfortable with one another and have even started to play with each other. That makes me happy.

I found out yesterday that A Very Long Engagement is playing in town so I don’t have to drive all the way to Atlanta to go see it. Woo Hoo! I will be doing that hopefully either this week or this weekend. Yippee!
