CAUTION: ACTUAL KNITTING CONTENT BELOW

After two weeks of sighing and missing my cruise vacation terribly, I have finally started to sort of settle back down into humdrum every day life. Sort of. At least, I’m trying to do that…

Anyway, I decided that it was high time to start making Christmas presents for my friends and family so I started on the first of several scarves for some of my buddies. I am pleased with the way the first one is turning out. It’s a ribbed scarf in colorblocks of heathered black, gray and cream. I’m loving it so much, in fact, that it will be hard to part with it. I will manage, somehow.

A friend of mine saw the baby pumpkin hat and loved it and wanted me to make a baby christmas tree hat for a friend, but then saw my finished Frida poncho and asked for that for her daughter instead. Since I have plenty of left over yarn to make another poncho, I am more than willing to oblige, especially since I had already thought about making another one.

Looks like my knitting front is about to get happy busy! YAY!!!!!!!
