Everyone in my house (human, anyway) is battling some stage of the creeping crud/cold sickness. And yet only the animals seem to have any sense about the whole matter.
Today I noticed something that I’m honestly surprised I never noticed before. If you read your twitter stream as though people are talking to one another (even if they aren’t. Actually, especially if they aren’t.) then you can end up with some pretty damn funny “conversations.” For instance, these two tweets are completely unrelated and [...] BAD Boy on learning that I was going to go see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt.1 sneak peek and he wasn’t going with me: Well, you know…Harry DIES. My response: Yeah. I know. I read the book. Him: Why does it have to be Harry? Why can’t it be Ron or Hermoine? Me: [...] B has been fighting a sinus infection and has been pretty wiped all week. Tonight, we’re laying on the couch, the Alabama game is one and he’s trying to hack up a lung. Him: This is pretty miserable. Me: I know. I don’t like watching football either.
