So I finally started on Sock #2 last night. The night before last I had a pretty bad headache (much like the one I can’t seem to shake today) and didn’t feel like doing anything but reading. Even as I type that it does seem odd that I would want to read a book when I have a headache, but that is me. Odd. Weird. Possibly crazy. But I digress. I have to say, though, I am a little concerned about my wrist being sore and it’s hindering of my knitting. I had given myself a deadline to finish the sock by Saturday, but I think my wrist neatly took care of ruining that deadline. Oh well. It will get done as soon as I can. The deadline had to do with visiting Aunt B Saturday. I would love to have been able to give her the socks then, but maybe the following weekend. We shall see.
And then there is this. I think I have decided to put designing a cardigan on hold for the moment. So, instead, I am in search of the perfect pattern for my Suri Merino worsted weight yarn in charcoal grey. Any ideas, people? I should warn you up front, I am incredibly picky, but I like feedback. Ironic? Possibly. Maddening? Definitely. Oh, and if it’s a sweater with cables it’s a no go. Believe me, I’ve been looking for the right sweater, and so far, no luck. I would like something that is a little more fitted than the Hoodie. Ok, go.

It’s not fitted, but what about Cinxia? I’ve always liked that pattern, and I think it would look great in a charcoal grey.
That’s a thought. I’ll have to read the pattern through, but I wonder if I could add a little waist shaping….hmmmmm…..
