Sitting with my chickies, knitting and drinking (decaf jumpy monkey, yum.) and gabbing was just what the doctor ordered. It was light out long enough to sit outside, and then once it wasn’t light enough, the knitting stopped and the gabbing just kept going.
Some guy last night thought I was in his law class at UAB. He came to our table to bum a lighter and said something like, don’t we have a class together? and I said, if we did, it would have been about 5 or 6 years ago. He was just so sure I was in some law class of his. Sorry Charlie. I’ve been out of school for awhile with no plans to go back in the near future.
However, I guess this means I look like I’m in my early twenties as opposed to mid twenties? Sweet. I’ll take it.
I actually worked on the hat, but do you have any idea how hard it is to knit with black yarn in the dark? I’ve started on the first row of the design, but then I got too cold to knit. Yeah yeah, first I complain that it’s too warm to knit and then now I’m complaining that I got too cold, but I couldn’t stop shivering! I’m sure it had nothing to do with the frozen drink I was drinking, either.
Anyway, I have camera but no cable, so I have progress pictures of a hat I’ve already made and you’ve already seen. Exciting, no?
I’m so glad that you had a good night last night. And you sounded sarcastic when you mentioned that seeing progress pictures of a hat that you’ve already made and that we’ve already seen would be exciting….what do you mean? I’m riveted!!! Bring em on!!!

Oh, I know, I completely understand. I made sure that what I wrote was not something that could come back and bite me….
I just had a fun day. But….no worries…it took me long enough just to decide to write it…so, I won’t do that again….he, he….also, that blog you referred me to is hilarious!!!
