Book Club Tuesday

I am so excited about this! Some girlfriends and I are getting together for our very first book club.:) This should be fun. We are voting on a book tonight.

And I have more good news! The very first Birmingham, AL area Stitch ‘n’ Bitch is this Thursday at Knit Nouveau in Helena, AL: “throwing a test-run party for the store Stitch & Bitch this Thursday night, from 6 pm to about 8:30. Bring your current knitting project; we will have coffee, tea and snacks, and you can BYOB if you?re in the mood for something stronger. The store will stay open during the get-together for any late-evening purchases.” I am so excited I can’t stand it! Plus, I need a pair of size 8 circular needles for my hoodie, and now I can get them. Check out their website at Knit Nouveau

Oh, and my dear darling cat Scraggles (she’s our little girl) killed a squirrel last night or at least found a dead one and tried to bring it in the house! While I’m not sad that she killed the squirrel (they’ve eaten a lot of the insulation in our attic, not to mention the wiring they’ve chewed through), I really wish it wasn’t on my porch. :S
