Bittersweet

Today was my last day of work after nearly 6 years there. I don’t regret my decision to leave, but I am going to miss the people I worked with and who made it my home away from home.

That being said, I am really looking forward to what is ahead of me and the opportunities I will have.

But for now, I’m mourning the end of an era.

Change is hard but change is good. I often think of Cat Steven’s lyrics from his song “Sitting” – Oh life is like a maze of doors and they all open from the side you’re on…
So go ahead and open the next door and see what’s waiting for you on the other side. I’m sure it will be wonderful!
