Yes, I made a pledge to finish two scarves. I managed to finish the pink temptress scarf in one day. APPLAUD. PAT ME ON THE BACK. MARVEL IN MY KNITTERY. However, I lost a little steam on knitting another scarf so instead I spent time with I Do and the GKI Raglan Sweater. I just needed to knit something that wasn’t a scarf. You understand, don’t you?
I mean, I was spending time with most some of y’all! The love is still there for all of you. Baby Blankie, I haven’t forgotten you or you, Second Suck Sock. Honeymoon Cami, I will start on you again. Soon. Hoodie, I will work on you again as soon as I get the Stitch ‘n Bitch book back from Celeste. You understand don’t you? But there are so many of you and only one of me.
I mean, I AM spreading the goodness of knitting onto my friends. Converting the world over to knitting, one person at a time. Celeste, and now Niki. And there are others who want to learn. Knitters shall inherit the earth! (insert evil laugh here)
I promise to finish the brioche stitch scarf. I’m even going to work on it during my lunch breaks. I promise. Would I lie to you baby? (Don’t answer that. It’s a rhetorical question. We already KNOW the answer.)
