And then…

My knitting is being rude.

I keep losing stitches on the Kiri Shawl. I’ve knit row 59 or attempted to knit row 59 about 80 bajillion times right now and this is just not working out. I’m knitting it really slow to make sure I do it right. Somewhere from knitting the purl side row and turning the knitting over to start row 59, I lose a stitch. I just jumps off the needles while I’m turning it. And what I don’t understand is how it can jump off the needles from somewhere in the middle. Damn you Houdini stitch! I will find you and knit you and YOU WILL LIKE IT.

I’ve started the decreases for the armholes on the CPH and got a little carried away with the binding off so I’m a stitch short. This, I managed to do last night. I was so disgusted with myself that I put it down and didn’t attempt to fix it last night. Luckily I caught it right away so I only have one or at the most two rows to frog. No biggie, just frustrating ater dealing with the Houdini stitch earlier in the day.

So now, I want to knit this Chapeau Marnier cloche hat. Oh! And I have a baby knit to do for one of my former fellows who’s expecting his first child. They’re having a girl, so I’m thinking about ordering the Dream In Color baby sweater kit from Lettuce Knit.

Because, you know, I don’t have at least 10 UFOs randomly stuffed in my knitting cabinets. No way. Nope. Not me.

Ahem.
