A Very Merry Unbirthday

Hi! Miss me? I spent my long birthday weekend being decadently lazy, bowling, eating a LOT of pizza, watching Harry Potter and folding the biggest mountain of laundry you have ever seen. Oh yeah, and getting older. Damn.

B was most fabulous and did what any smart man would do. He bought me roving.? Now I’m just waiting for it to arrive.

Little Man gave me a candle, which was very sweet. He also picked out the very goth card that they gave me. I’m pretty sure he was also the one who put a $1 bill in the card, too. Such a sweet kid. Oh, about the goth card. He thought it was really funny. I don’t think he understands just when what goth means. And hopefully he’ll never feel to follow that path.

Harry Potter was great, but watching it on a dome screen was a little disorienting. If our IMAX was a normal screen, I think it would have been better. I think overall, though, the movie was good. We all had a good time. Especially since we spent about an hour or so in the adventure halls of the McWane center before the movie started. Good fun.

Totally unrelated to my birthday, but totally related to the rest of my life, I’ll be packing up and moving in the next two weeks so it’ll be crazy. Good thing I don’t have much to move. I like moving. I just hate the packing part.
