Fortunate:
Last Friday I went MIA as I was enroute to my 10 year high school reunion. Pictures are here. I had a blast and reconnected with people that I haven’t seen or been in touch with since graduation. Loads of fun that lasted less than 24 hours as Saturday afternoon we headed back home so I could go to San Antonio, TX for work. Oh yeah, my reunion was in Columbia, SC.
Sunday, I left for San Antonio, TX and discovered just how crappy flying has become. I used to love flying. When I was a kid, it was great. Now, it just plain sucks. Damn terrorists fuck it up for everybody. Anyway, despite it being a work trip, I still managed to find time for some fun. I got to see an old friend from my Jeddah days and I got to hang out with another friend from high school as well. Pictures from all that are here.
Unfortunate:
After getting back from San Antonio and seeing Pyro Salto (pictures to come as I left my camera in B’s car.), I ended up coming down with a head cold.
Thanks to the identity theft crap, I’m without a paycheck and broke because HR didn’t bother to update my new address when I moved, oh, SIX MONTHS AGO. Hopefully that’ll get straightened out in the next day or so. I like getting paid. A LOT.
Undecided as to Fortunate or Unfortunate:
I’ve been asked to do a photoshoot because the asian female previously scheduled to shoot is now unavailable. I hope I’m asian enough for them, being as I am only half asian. We’ll see how that goes as it is this afternoon.
And that’s what’s been going on with me for the past week and a half or so.
Glad you had fun at your homecoming! Wish we could have gone, but being 7 months pregnant and without an extra couple thousand dollars, the trip was out of the question.
