A Little Late, But Still GoodBob said he didn’t see all that big of a difference between using a camera to video something versus the Flip. I don’t know if I’ll convince him otherwise, but I know my digital camera didn’t come with the software to make a video into a short movie. I am using the word “movie” extremely liberally here. My sister’s neighbor (and apparently my brother-in-law’s cousin) is REALLY big into Christmas. In a Griswold-y kind of way. You gotta love it. I just got round to this one…
1. Uh.. Windows comes with software that’ll do that.
2. There is a house in San Carlos (about 5 miles from here) where the fellow and his neighbor COVER both of their houses in lights, with lit up trees and Santas in planes, and every other thing you can imagine that could light up. Two years ago he trucked in SNOW (it never snows here, ever) and covered a 12 foot long ramp with it so kids could slide down a “snow hill”. He told us his power bill is $4000 for the month of December.
