I am, in fact, knitting. The hood is slowly progressing, but I am sick of looking at the damn sweater and so therefore refuse to take pictures of it. You can see it when it’s done.
It is a sad state of your knitting affairs when your boyfriend tells you to go finish your sweater before yet another winter passes you by. That is sad, people. SAD.
I have, in fact, cast on for the first sock for my Aunt B. That’s it. Just cast on. I have not actually knitted a single stitch. Might have something to do with losing the f*cking pattern. I’m just saying.
I have not bought any yarn yet this year. This makes me sad. Nevermind that it is only day 5 of 2006. That is SO beside the point. My last actual yarn purchase was for either the socks that I have cast on for or for the scarf for Kadie. I can’t remember, but none of the yarn I bought was for myself, and that’s what matters most.
Yes, I am selfish with the yarn and I don’t care.
I am also a snob with the yarn.
We all have our priorities.
