Actually, I have had a weird-ish day. I actually got a decent amount of sleep last night. So, I’ve felt pretty good today. I found out that the company that I interviewed with is deciding between me and one other person. Pick me!
I’ve gotten most of the stuff done to turn in to class tonight. I’ll have time in between work and class to get it all done. The only thing that is missing from this day is KNITTING!
However, this Saturday is yarn shopping day. YEAH!!! Knit Nouveau is supposed to be opening on Friday so I will be there Saturday so I can take all the time I need.
Now, if I can just get my hair cut before Friday, I’ll be reallly happy.

Ok, so not knitting related, but kind of. At least, it effects my stash.
I interviewed for a job last evening, and I’m really hoping I got it, but the wait is nerve wracking! I felt like the interview went well. I just hope I hear from them by the end of the week. Sooner would be better.
I found a really cute pattern online yesterday. It’s for a baby sweater and pants. I think I’m going to try and make those too. I’m not sure when I’ll get to, but I’ll find the time somehow.
As for knitting, I doubt I’ll get to do any this week. It’s going to be study study study tonight. I got tons of stuff to hand in tomorrow that I haven’t even started on. Oops. I also Have a test next Monday so that means I’ll be studying all weekend. School was definitely a bad idea. I don’t NEED another degree. I NEED to spend time at home knitting and being with my husband! *Sigh* Well, this will all be over by May 5. Hopefully I will make it to then!

Well, we ended up not going to the Cheesecake Factory due to a 3 hour wait. We’re not really patient people when it comes to food.
So, we decided to do it next weekend.
I spent most of Saturday knitting and I was almost done with my second baby booty when I just completely lost it. I dropped a stitch somewhere and did something else completely wrong and ended up frogging the whole thing. I was unsalvageable. I left it alone yesterday and I’ll probably pick it up again next weekend. I was almost finished with it too. ggrrrr. C’est la vive. Well, here’s to another week at work and school!

My sweet husband gave me my valentine’s day present early. No complaints from me! I got the X-Men boxset.:) Yeah! Plus, he’s taking me out to dinner tomorrow night to the Cheesecake Factory!
We spent the evening at my parents’ house last night so I was able to get a little more knitting done on my baby booties. I also heard from David, my husband, that a friend of ours, Erica, has taken up knitting. I told her all about my new obsessions and showed her my Stitch’n'Bitch book. She was interested and printed some instructions off the internet, and was having trouble with it, so she checked a book out from the library and now she’s addicted too!
Her little girl is not so happy about it though. Maybe she’ll change her mind if mommy makes her something? I think so.

Ok, so I have decided that my next knitting project will be a sweater for my husband. It’s gonna be the Skully sweater out of the Stitch’n'Bitch book by Debbie Stoller. Maybe I’ll have it done by his birthday which is in September.
I’m hoping to buy the yarn at Knit Nouveau. He has also said he wants some wool socks. I guess that means I’ll have to buy another book on knitting.
I don’t know anything about knitting socks. I’ve only heard that it is difficult to get the heel right.
On another note, I’m hoping to get some pictures of what I’ve done so far up this weekend. I will get some pictures of my cats, Fat Max and Scraggles up also.
