Reflecting on Summer

Sometimes I think we really only truly enjoy a season when we’re not actually experiencing it. It is pretty hot around these parts. And while I grew up in the desert and welcome the heat, what I do not welcome is how hard the a/c strains to work to keep the house cool. And kinda fails. I think this is where we had it right back home. We didn’t have central a/c; we had window units. And man could those things produce. But our a/c? She’s struggling. So right now? The best part of the day is when the sun goes down.

  1. The humidity is what kills me. It’s like walking into a sauna. I can deal with dry heat pretty well, though.
