I have a confession to make. It pains me to think this, much less say it out loud, but it’s got to be said.
I think everyone is colorblind except me.
I don’t know how this happened. Maybe everyone but me got a mislabeled box of crayons and don’t know their colors? I’m trying to come to grips with the fact that no one seems to know navy blue when they see it.
However, now that we have identified the problem, hopefully we can find a way to remedy the situation. How did this all come about? Well, it started with some yarn and a pair of socks. The yarn in question is Regia 4 fädig in the lovely colorway named 5391. According to Yarndex: Nation Schwarz-gelb (Black, Gold) However, the manufacturer is also clearly mistaken.
Clearly this is a DARK NAVY BLUE and yellow yarn. Not yellow and grey yarn. CLEARLY. I just don’t understand why no one can see this except me. I’m not sure how we can remedy this situation, but I think it will probably start with the relabeling of crayons.
So, you see, dear internets, I have a big job ahead of me of re-educating almost everyone I know on what is navy blue and what is grey. I hope you aren’t colorblind, too.
Love,
Miss Pants

Yep. Definitely Charcoal gray. WTF? Why would anyone call that dark navy? Was the lighting bad? Sighs. Good luck on your quest for color education hun!! Let me know if you need any help.

Sorry. It is early and I”m on my first cup of coffee. I think that my monitor has a diff color display. Because it so looks gray in your picture. In real life, in diff lighting, I’d have to see it. All monitors skew/screw up color. Lots of love!!!

Yeah, definitely gray or black. Not navy.

Well, I can’t see the pictures so I can’t tell you what color it is. If you’re looking for black/gold yarn, I have some striping Regia I got for $1 skein that you can have. They’d make great bumblebee socks!
