I am in the process of getting ready to go to SAFF, which means trying to figure out how few changes of clothes I can get away with to make more room for fiber and yarn and my wheel and a baby alpaca.
What?
It might happen. Uh, just don’t tell my husband, ok?
Anyway, I’m trying to figure out which projects to bring with me, what I can absolutely live without and the best way to deter my three co-pilots from breaking into the bubbly BEFORE we get to Asheville.
Huh? What’s that? You want to know about the shawl? Well. Due to…well…I worked on it all weekend. I really did. And I made some pretty decent headway. However, my superhero powers of knitting faster than the speed of light did not materialize at any point over the weekend so it’s not finished. I’m still working on the final repeat before the border.
Which reminds me, I need to pack my blocking wires. And pins.
Anyway, to keep you entertained until I get back, here’s a video of Charlie in his debut interpretive dance piece: Fetch.

Beautiful…I sang the Brak song in my head the entire time I watched this, or maybe you could set it to Swan Lake. However, the funniest part of this video was Felix’s reaction-he looked rather perplexed. I think that is has less to do with hearing another dog in our house and more to do with hearing your voice without you actually here. Good stuff

PLEASE bring home an alpaca!!! You can teach Charlie how to herd it. He did so well with the donkeys.

Charlie is such a funny little dog. Love how that little tail sticks straight up in the air.
