I decided to take Friday off last week to have myself a nice little mini-break and man was it nice! I lollygagged around the house before heading out to get my license renewed (blech), pick up some knitting needles and meet my girlfriend from college for lunch (yay!). When this roving was drying, it looked awfully muddy and while I was disappointed, I knew I could overdye it. But now that it’s dry? I love it. The colors aren’t muddy, but they are muted in some places and still bright in others. And maybe it’s not quite as tye dyed looking [...] |
