You know how cats are usually scared of loud noises? Or at least really really don’t like loud noises? And they’re usually incredibly disdainful and arrogant and what not? My kitten is not like that at all. She’s kind of the opposite, really. Her favorite toys are the ones that make the most noise, like plastic bags or large sheets of paper. The louder the better. She doesn’t run from the toilet when it’s flushed. It’s almost like she doesn’t hear it.

She’s still such a baby in so many ways, but she’s getting bigger. Actually, longer would be a better way to describe her. She doesn’t seem all that much bigger, but she seems to be getting longer.

She’s also a little devil. One of her other favorite things to do is to get on top of Harriet (my roommate’s cat) and lay splayed across Harriet’s back like a parasite and bite Harriet on the neck. Harriet will yell at Chloe, Chloe will ignore Harriet and eventually Harriet will get up and shake Chloe off. Then the chasing ensues.

Chloe loves to play and we play kinda rough. She’s a biter and sometimes a scratcher, but mostly a biter. I’m pretty sure she’ll grow out of the stage after awhile, and the only time she’s a biter is when we’re playing.

She can be sweet sometimes, too. She usually greets me at the door when I get home from work. She’ll let me craddle her like a baby in my arms when I hold her and she’ll purr while I pet her. She also likes to lick my nose when I’m laying down trying to go to sleep. Sometimes she’ll get under the covers and curl up against me, too.

She’s also stubborn. She fell in the tub a couple days ago and there was still a decent amount of water in the tub. I heard frantic splashing and went to inspect it. I found her trying desparately trying to run to the end of the tub to jump out. She was none too pleased about the incident. However, that doesn’t stop her from continuing to perch on the tub every chance she gets.
