One of my oldest and dearest childhood friends is coming to visit me this weekend! Well, ok, she’s coming to visit the sister as well. But still! She’s coming! It’s been several years since the last time I saw her, I am ashamed to say. But in my defense, she is a tough bird to track down! She moves constantly, doesn’t bother to tell you when she’s changed her phone number, YET AGAIN, and is HORRIBLE at returning calls. (Yes Vivi, I am totally calling you out on all these things on the internets.) Though, in her defense, I have yet to go and visit her. Well, that’s not ENTIRELY true. I did go visit her, sort of, when her brother got married. (And we’ll NOT mention exactly how long ago that was.)

Anyway, I see a weekend of all-around good-natured debauchery in my near future. What more can a girl ask for in one weekend?

As for her good points, Vivian is a fiercely loyal and devoted friend. Don’t EVER say anything bad about anyone she loves because you will never know what ripped your head off and stuffed it up your ass….with peppers to boot. She’s beautiful, bubbly, has a great sense of humor and a most contagious laugh. She also does that cool, one-eyebrow raise thing that I am so very jealous of because I cannot do it. She’s always got a smile and a hug for you and she will totally laugh at you if you do something stupid. Then she’ll tell everybody about it. That is a good friend in my book because I would do the exact same thing. Life is never dull with the Vivian.
